The BSD Investigates: The 70's

The BSD tackles many tough issues (typically involving dereliction, filth, lasciviousness, style, avant-garde menswear, and political acquiescence in Appalachia) and like an after-school special, digs to the very heart zealously, eager to uncover the oft-painful truths and a socially acceptable resolution. This instance was no different.

A very deft and arduously well-dressed colleague of the BSD was kind enough to submit these photos for intense scrutiny, BSD-style. You know, what would a drunken, belligerent, very good-looking hedonist say about these and what do they, as evidential reference points, say about the context in which they were published?

Well fear not, dear Public! The BSD will not disappoint!

Ah. [sips a G&T, sighs with an air of accomplished contempt]

Yeah. I guess this used to be the style of pubic hair (I think that's what it's called- I've never seen it) women in the 70s would have rocked, proudly displaying their ample muffs through jeans tight enough to take their pulse. The thought of it just made the BSD throw up a little bit in his mouth. Probably cool enough at the time but more than a little puzzling in the clarity of daybreak, as the BSD struggles to find the black briefs he discarded emphatically before animalistically transporting his hirsute lover to universes of perversion as to yet undiscovered.

This cover unnerves me.

The BSD's hindquarters are those of Legend. Excellency incarnate. In order to go on living, one must try to escape the death involved in perfection.

Consider the BSD immortal.

The BSD supports this dude's choice of tank top. Well done, baby, I'm hip.

I also support his selection of this nubile cutie. She's got a certain "Cory Kennedy meets Flux Capacitor" thing going on. Approved.

I can't find anything wrong with this.

Upon deep thought and incongruous investigation, and with the help of some basic mathematics, the BSD has determined that the 70s scored an +83.
